Brando Sando Back Story

Brando Sando was born to failed sea cow farmers on the planet Chad. While he was still very young his parents sold him on the exotic pet market, hoping to be able to rebuild their livelihood. Having gone off planet so young he was able to avoid his people’s fear of water and only harbors a mild distrust of it. He does, however, still share their love for technology and tinkering. 

Brando was purchased by an Imperial Officer as a gift for the Zygerrian slave master Dolara Zheen. Initially, being viewed as only a mild amusement, Brando was largely left on his own. His natural intelligence and aptitude for all things mechanical gained him some notoriety on the underworld tech scene and he eventually came to oversee the maintenance of Dolara’s personal gear and vehicles. He was granted his freedom after crafting an exceptional pair of blasters for Dolara, a decision she regrets and was largely confused by. Brando is unaware of his connection to the Force and the role it played in his release.

Although he has a very positive disposition and largely views his life so far as a big adventure, Brando actively obsesses over the masterpieces he made for Dolara. If he can’t make something better he will eventually have to go get them. His inability to repeat the success so far haunts him.
